Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 18, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of CycleLearn, an AI-powered study service that turns learning materials such as PDFs, documents, YouTube links, and audio files into quizzes, flashcards, explanations, spaced repetition schedules, and learning analytics.

Agreement to These Terms

By accessing or using CycleLearn, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use CycleLearn on behalf of an organization, school, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

Service Description

CycleLearn provides study tools that use AI and learning science techniques such as active recall and spaced repetition. Features may include document upload, source analysis, quiz and flashcard generation, answer review, progress tracking, mistake analysis, and multilingual quiz generation.

Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.
  • You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Your Materials

You retain ownership of PDFs, documents, audio, links, prompts, answers, notes, and other materials you upload or submit to CycleLearn. You grant CycleLearn a limited license to host, process, reproduce, analyze, transform, and display your materials only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload or process your materials. Do not upload confidential, illegal, infringing, or highly sensitive information unless you are authorized to do so and accept the associated risks.

AI-Generated Content

AI-generated quizzes, flashcards, explanations, summaries, references, and recommendations may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

CycleLearn is a study aid. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, professional, academic admissions, certification, or exam-pass guarantees.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not use CycleLearn for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or security-compromising activity.
  • Do not upload content that violates another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, bypass rate limits, or access non-public areas of the service.
  • Do not use CycleLearn to generate or distribute malware, spam, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, or other harmful content.
  • Do not resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit CycleLearn unless we have agreed in writing.

Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

Paid plans are billed according to the plan you select, such as monthly or annual billing. Unless canceled before the renewal date, subscriptions renew automatically. You can continue using paid features until the end of the current paid period after cancellation.

Because CycleLearn provides digital services and computing resources immediately after purchase, fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by us. Prices, plan limits, and included features may change, but changes will not reduce your current paid period without notice.

Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit parts of CycleLearn at any time, including to perform maintenance, improve features, address security issues, or comply with law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Intellectual Property

CycleLearn, including its software, design, branding, workflows, and service content, is owned by CycleLearn or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of CycleLearn to you.

Termination

You may stop using CycleLearn at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, fail to pay fees, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, but provisions intended to survive will continue to apply.

Disclaimers

CycleLearn is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CycleLearn will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost study progress, or loss of goodwill. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to CycleLearn in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law rules. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or CycleLearn, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date. Your continued use of CycleLearn after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
